Keypad light N73

I have managed to convert movies into 3gp format and watching it on my N73. How do I switch off the light on the keypad whilst I am watching a film?

Make sure the light sensor has enough light shining onto it. This shuts off the keypad light.

Nope, but I have an N80 and the light sensor works in the same way.

;8260222']So if I'm watching a movie at nighttime or in an airplane/train with the lights out, the keypad will stay lit unless I shine light on the sensor? That cant be good for battery life .

I hope there is some menu or 3rd party app to fix this.

When the keypad turns on the backlight dims a bit.

Yes. In the dark, the keypad lights come on and the screen dims. In the light, the screen is set to the brightest level and the keypad lights remain off. You'll need to find a 3rd party app to change this. Afterall, why would Nokia set the light sensor to turn the lights OFF in the dark?!
