A few years ago my keyless remote stopped working. I thought it was the battery for the remote because sometimes it would work if you held the remote right up to the window, but most of the time it would not work. I just never replaced the battery in the remote until yesterday. That did not fix the problem. Once I am IN the car, the remote works. I am assuming the receiver is crappy (thanks Nissan)? When the car was new, the remote worked from a block away and now only about a foot. Does anyone know why this is happening??
