keyboard and T3

I just bought a Palm wireless keyboard for my T3, and now I have two troubles for the installation:
1. I have to remove an olt keyboard driver. I tried to install and use, with no luck, my old m105 keyboard and installed its driver. It didn't work, and each time I tap on it, it gives me a fatal error and auto-resets itself. But I cannot remove it, I get an error saying "unable to delete". How to delete it? Should I overwrite the new one?

2. I am away from my hotsync cradle. I would like, once erased the prir driver, to be able to install the new one from CD. THere is any way I can install the driver copying it from the CD to my SD card, and install from there? How?

I'll appreciate any suggestion...

Let me know if you solve the problem with deleting the old driver. I'm having the same problem with a stowaway driver that installed from backup when I migrated to the T3. I installed FileZ and didn't have any luck using that to delete it either. I get error 539. Hope someone knows what that is.

I figured out a work around by renaming the old keyboard driver. That allowed me to install the new one and it seems to work fine. The old one is still taking up space until I figure out how to get it off.

What normally happens with the keyboard driver, or any other driver, is it gets loaded when you "reset" the Palm. There are three types of reset: Soft / Warm / Hard. The following link has a description of each, and how to perform it.

http://www.tankerbob.com/palm/resets.htm

If you perform the "warm" reset, you should be able to delete the file, since it is not loaded after the "warm" reset. Just remember to do a normal "soft" reset to re-enable all the normal system files.

Let me know if this solves your problem.
