Anyone esle fans of them? I bought Chasing Amy and Clerks 2 recently to add to Clerks X and Mallrats. All I need now is Dogma and Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back and I'll be happy!

How would you rate them, and which ones do you think are the best? I wonder what his next film will be...?

I think his next film is going to be a horror which sounRAB fab to me.

A rough order for me would be

Clerks
Clerks 2
Chasing Amy
Mallrats
Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back
Dogma

Haven't seen Jersey Girl
 
I'm a Kevin Smith fan :D Love them all except Chasing Amy and Jersey Girl.

I can't decide if Clerks or Mallrats is my absolute favourite, but I've watched those two many times :D
 
Love them all and I would highly recommend watching his "An Evening With Kevin Smith" DVD's. The first one is much better but both are funny.
I am soooo sad I even bought the Degrasi DVD he directed and acted in. I have also bought a couple of the Viewaskew back catalogue "Chasing Flies and Vulgar".
 
Whenever I see the name Kevin Smith my first thoughts are not of film directors, but of the chap who played Ares in Xena and Hercules. Silly sod got drunk and fell off a tower while making a film in China and died a few days later. Great loss.

It supposedly happened after hours after some partying. I believe the official line they tried to initially push was of a stunt gone wrong. Not that I was there, it's only what I've read of the event.

Kevin Smith is a genius. Second the vote for the 'Evening with' DVRAB although have only seen the first. Nobody mixes gross-out humour with amazingly human characters like Smith.
