Keeping it clean.

Guys you are all spot on, especially Rosco, Mr Sheen does work a treat but I've never used it on the rims or bodywork. Think that I've got Bob-Hope of finding that Honda stuff here in Asia but the ol' faithful WD-40 (a spray on lubricant, silicon based - for those not in the know) will hopefully get the ol'girl up to her best. Will get some pics taken (when she arrives !) and post them for you to all see.
Thanks Slower than you, always keen to get a solution for any problems, thats what you gotta love about this site - best Duke site on the net.
Cheers

WD40 and glass cleaner is what I usually use for the rims and bodywork...need something for the more stuck on bits. Maybe those Meths are the way forward...

j/k...don't use that. If you guys can't find the Honda spray polish use Plexus. The only thing with these aerosols is that they cant be air shipped. Ground shipping only. Oh, and don't use Windex or rain-x on your windshields. These are abrasive and will leave nice rainbow swirls, unless of course rainbow swirls are your thing.

To all you honda polish users, give this stuff a try....... www.adamspolishes.com/c-11-detail-spray.aspx I use to swear by Honda Spray Polish until it got banned, then I switched to this stuff. Its literally insane!!! The best shine Ive ever seen for those between wax cleanings and its liquid spray so you can pour it into a small spray bottle and keep it with you. I apply it to a micro fiber towel and wipe on the bike, then flip and wipe with the dry side. And its not too expensive 39.99 for a gallon and a spray bottle.

im with rosco, been using mr sheen on all my bikes for years. for the initial clean i use motorex dirt bike cleaner to get the heavy dirt/ grease off. when dry , finish with the little man with the glasses

For the paint I use ICE by Turtle wax. It is the bomb. Makes all my girls shine. For the wheels I use Eagle One teflon wheel cleaner and it works well, though I also use WD-40 too. My ZX10's wheels are chrome so clean them with Eagle One wadding. Works great.
