Keep my itouch and my phone or get rid of my itouch and get a droid?

So on thursday I have my upgrade and I can get a Motorola Droid. But my dad said that if I get a droid I have to give him my itouch since you can put music on the droid. I dont know if I should just keep my itouch and current phone or would it be worth it giving up my itouch? I just dont know I need advice.
