keep getting booted back to yahoo home page?

when I try to download a file some1 sends me on email I get booted back to yahoo home page. Also this happens when I try to get into yahoo spades, also when I try to adding to favorites. Screen come up saying internet explorer is not working, then says it has restarted, but I still get booted back to yahoo home page. Can anyone please help this nitwit? thank u
