kawasaki ninja 250r?

Im just 16 years old and looking for transportation. This summer im gonna get my regular licence, then my bikers licence. Im planning on getting the kawasaki ninja 250r (as seeing im a begginer). . im about 5'6 or 5'7 . and weigh 120 to 130 lbs.
would i be okay on this bike?

any additional information about me or the bikes from you is appreciated.
 
Id say you will be ok on this bike. I recommend it for ur first bike. If ur planning on keeping it for awhile, I'd check out the new 2008 ninja 250. Otherwise I'd go with an older one to just learn and sell and getting something bigger. Good luck!!
