Terrain – usually around the streets of Burnaby and Richmond, British Columbia; or all over Vancouver. Plus, the traffic is generally quite light in the suburbs.
The engines
1.In the Camry Hybrid, the petrol engine is a 2.4-liter four-cylinder modified for greater fuel efficiency. It's capable of 147 horsepower and 138 pound-feet of torque. The electric motor adds another 40 hp, for a total of 187 hp when driving conditions call for maximum power. I found that driving the 2008 Toyota Camry Hybrid could be a bit weird at times due to the continuously variable transmission (CVT), electric motor and exceptionally quiet cabin at traffic lights. Yet, the Camry Hybrid offers rather brisk acceleration, meaning I don't necessarily have to give up performance for good fuel economy. While the Camry offers a smooth ride and quiet cabin, its handling takes a toll in terms of road feel and general driving dynamics. I found the steering is too feathery. On the other hand, the luxuries triumph over the mediocre handling. The suspension just glide over road bumps, combined with soft leather seats is just like a spa.
2.Katherine’s carbohydrate engine is mostly powered by a twin quadriceps (one set in each thigh) and has rather poor fuel efficiency. However, the fuel isn’t nearly as costly as petrol, as she mostly takes in Chinese food with bowls of rice. When pushed to maximum power, the engine will drain very rapidly. Even though, the skin of the engine is silky smooth.
