Kate Capshaw for Indy 4???

Has it been confirmed if Kate Capshaw will reprise her role as Willie Scott for Iindiana Jones 4? Hope so she was brilliant in Temple of Doom

about 15 i think!
so far as i can tell raiders was set in 1938
and the new indy film is set in the 50's.

and to confuse you more temple of doom was set before
raiders although it was the second film:confused:
 
LOL i know exactly wot u mean, I always thought it went Raiders, then Temple..., and then Crusade was the prequel! I only discovered a few months ago that Temple... was a prequel to Raiders lolol!

Loved Willie Scott (Kate Capshaw) but was amazed to believe that after this role Capshaw's work dried up and she was widely panned for her portrayal. Is this a general feeling amongst fans cos I always thought she was briliant! I love the beginning of Temple... "Anything goes"

Aparently it's gonne be set nearly 20 years after Crusade.

I'm in the minority that rates Temple as my favourite Indy flick. I'd like to see a cameo from Kate... and I would LOVE to see an arse-kicking cameo from Jonathan Ke Quan (who is now a stunt choreographer).
 
And is surely why she wasn't replaced.

She almost single handedly ruined the film! If she just stopped screaming for 5 seconRAB, it would've been bearable.

I guess she was being told to scream though, not entirely her fault I suppose.

One of the reasons I liked Willie Scott was because she screamed lol e.g. the scene in the jungle when she lifted the bat, then ran past a chimp and then saw an owl and she screamed because she was basically a 'fish out of water', it was all new to the character.

Though, I can see how it would have turned people off!:D
 
I really liked Kate Capshaw in Temple... OK so it was a bit campy and melodramatic and silly in places, but she always makes me smile when I watch it.

I like the fact it takes itself a tad less seriously than the other two already-made films.

I can understand her being very divisive at the time though, especially when you consider this film followed Raiders of the Lost Ark, which grappled with some pretty dark concepts. But she was supposed to be a glamourous nightclub singer. So to find herself chucked off planes, sliding down rapiRAB and riding an elephant through rural India, her reactions seem in keeping with the character really. :D She "matured" towarRAB the end as well.

But no, I'm a fan it has to be said! :D
 
Karen Allen was the best of all of em.
Frank Darabont's Indy script apparently focussed partly on the women in Indy's life and as the new film apparently still includes elements of that script, Capshaw's return is a possibility.
But whither Short Round?
 
What do people think of the official title for Indy IV - 'The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull'? A bit long winded?

Just hope the movie doesn't turn out to be another unnecessary sequel and a poor movie itself.....
