Takashi Murakami directed the music video for Kanye West's song "Good Morning." Its off Kanye's third album, Graduation, which was released last year. Anyway, the song is about the person finally making it to graduation from college. Its pretty cute. I like all the obstacles that Kanye's mascot(the bear) has to go through just to get his degree.

The animation is done by OLM, who have done many anime series/movies. It was released last year, but you could only see it in art house galleries. Now, its available to buy on iTunes.

Nice music video. It's interesting seeing an official music video for Kanye West being made by an anime producing company.

Kanye West really seems to be into anime on his latest album: First off the "Stronger" track with beats taken from Daft Punk whose video homaged Akira at one point, and now imaging himself as some cut big eyed anime bear trying to make his way to graduation. Well it seems to be working for him having such a high record debut last year (easily outdoing non anime using 50 Cent) but still something to notice.
