Kanye West - 808s and Heartbreak

What are people's thoughts on this album?

The first time I listened to it, I thought it was complete trash, but it's grown on me. By no means is it Kanye's finest hour, but his ambition and restlessness always keeps things interesting. Hip hop as a whole is better off with its biggest stars pushing boundaries.

My two favorite songs off this are:

I like streetlights, I like parts of robocop but not the entire thing, I like the "okay okay" hook but the rest of the lyrics sort of suck. I like heartless most out of all the tracks. Amazing is alright too.

I didn't like this CD at all the first time I attempted to listen to it but after a couple plays some of the songs really stuck. It takes a bit because it's pretty out there as far as kanye is concerned but some of it is decent stuff, it's not really fair to compare it so his previous albums though because it's completely different.
 
I guess it's growing on me. It's nice to hear something different then a lot of the stuff out there. Even though it's Kanye's worst cd, it's better than 90% of what's come out this year imho
