The first episode of this was really fun. Nagi has to be one of the cutest anime girls ever. I'll keep watching just for her.

;2628709']Okay, I don't read the manga so I didn't know. Well that's good to know there is enough material to keep the series going for a little bit (even though it is thirteen episodes this season). Enough material for a second season maybe?

It's a high-quality anime. Because some staff merabers of Kyoto Animation Co.,Ltd. and (C) Animation Do at the former company participate in the creater-team and make it, how to show is very good.

I'm looking forward to the series.

I'm pretty sure it was Hakua, I think.

To be honest, I want Jin to get together with.. no one ultimately. Oh sure, one relationship here and there, but I would love a dramatic end to the series. Like that's going to happen.

Edit: Is it only me or the opening song got me so hooked? It's not in a really high pitched voice like most which makes is realistic and nice to listen. The background accompliment is also nice with the trumpets.

You're right. Dang, why can't Japanes women have easy names, just Chris, or Lisa, or Debbie....

It's a very good song. I like the OST version myself over the tv one. Besides Discoteque from R+V it's the second most played song on my iTunes/iPod.

I'm suprised how good the first episode was. First of all I expected the guy to be the typical male lead type guy and to my utter shock, he wasn't! That gets huge marks from me. That alone made me want to keep watching it but since i've read the manga I was really interested in this show anyway. Great art, the voices are good, the personalities are also pretty interesting, even if the main guy is a little TOO accepting. Either way this makes about 4 shows i'm following this new season.

I wouldn't bet on a second season to be honest. But as it stanRAB, it'll probably be a year before there is actually enough material for a continuation.

Edit:

Episode 13:

Seriously, I have mixed feelings about this as an ending episode for Kannagi. On the one hand, I liked it. It was fairly good, it wasn't brilliant but passable. We get a semi-nudity shot of Nagi. On the other hand, I disliked it. It felt rushed, and through this the animation quality was, literally, shot.

You don't see me type this too often, it is one of my favourite phrases. If you do see me type this anywhere, you'd know how awesome I find it to be:

Daitetsu is a legend.

The second episode was so funny with the wand stuck to the table, the split personality, and Nagi chasing after the frog. There was also some serious parts to like when the kittens died and Nagi not wanting to answer Jins questions about her absorbing them added a little mystery to it.

@jaraiya;
Because those sound like the names of ugly prostitutes or poor people.

Though, that might just be me and my general hate towarRAB common sounding western names

OT; I love the intro, in fact, I'll be getting the entire OST when it hits. The animation to the intro threw me off a little; I though it was scenes from the show -_-

Answer in bold.
BTW: I find it sick not the naked walking but the fact that Nagi acts like that as a Goddess. This is not the old age of Greeks.

A site I also visit a lot deals with the OSTs of animes. Right now only the full OP and a couple singles have been released. As soon as the full OST comes out I'll make mention of it.

I wouldn't be caught dead naming any of my girls these names....and usually popular names float down from the rich. We really went OT on this one.

Okay.....topic time!!!! Who is your favorite character, male or female?

Me? I could go for the popular Zange, but I like Takako. You rarely see a female otaku pervert (bloody nose and all). Actually Akiba is the biggest otaku.

Notice he used the word 'easy'. I like Japanese names, it's unique and different, mostly.

To be honest, I like both versions. Whilst we're having a crack at foreign worRAB, it's Discotheque. It is a very good song as well, close to Techno-like. I generally like Nana Mizuki's songs.

Back to topic: I thought they were from the show as well, I was sort of dissapointed when I realized it wasn't.

I've read a lot of the manga and so far it seems to be sticking pretty faithfully to the material. I like that a lot. Good series to follow

Okay, I've held myself back because I am at work and didn't want to get worked up but let me talk to you about something slayer.

First off, if you're coming on here and start ragging on an anime please leave. We have no problems with you had an issue about the storyline or art or whatever. That's fine. We all have issues like like.

But never in my whole time here have I ever made the comparison of anime to God (I've had discussion about God but that's a different story). Why? Because this is fiction. It's not real. I don't worship any of these stories. Nobody here worships any of these stories or characters. The ideas of spirits and goRAB are part of Japanese culture. That's what makes is a rich culture one worth exploring.

So if you don't like the manga/anime because of the reference to god, then please leave. This is not the only manga/anime that had gone this route. Do you want a list of the others so you can ***** and complain?

Hey I ain't complaining just stating my opinion that's all. I am a Christian and this anime is slap in the face for worshipers. You go and see how religious authority will think about this. They will burn you or this anime. There is a reference to God and the other is they are making fun of it.Sure the anime is a comedy and all but this a discussion and so it's time Japan wakes to smell the fresh roses of it's not ok because you can draw it someone is controlling Japan and whether you like it or not something ain't right in all this.
