K-PAX, the Gene Brewer Novel?

Is there any reason why the novel K-PX would be inappropriate to have in a high-school library? This library has books like The Catcher In The Rye, which has plenty of cuss words... And some books that deal with sex in the young teens, but not in detail. So I guess that would be the limitations. Is there an adult enough part in K-PAX that would prevent a librarian from including it in the library? Thank you. :)
