K&N Air Filter Kit? And paint job cost?

I'm going to restore an older truck and turn it into a mild rock crawler. Was thinking about putting a K&N air filter kit on it to give it more horsepower. Its a 1988 F150 full size pickup. Also, about what would it cost to get a paint job on it? Not an extremely good one, but with a medium priced paint. It has a little rust but just surface rust. And not much of it.
 
well the K&N intake kit on my truck was $300 but i got mine for $200 so the one for yours should be about the same, to repaint it, it depends on how good of shape the body is in, since its going to be a rock crawler im sure you won't care about dents so if you just have it painted with no body work then maybe $500-$1,000, thats if it doesn't have any rust, just a guess, also depends on where you take it, but i'd rather pay a little more for a good job than pay cheap and get a shi**y job so don't take it to a chain place, take it to a good body shop, for exact price estimates you need to call up body shops in your area for estimates, they'd need to look at it in person for actual estimates
