? Personally in the book's i loved them both up until he second one when Edward left bella, i then wanted to slap him and vent my rage. From then on i started realizing how enticing Jacob sounded, sure he was a little immature in some parts but he was always there for her + always made it clear that he always would be. I know Edward ment the same thing by leaving in an effort to protect her + saving her from the Various foe's they encounter but i still never liked him the same after he came back.
