Hello fellow back buddies !!
It's been awhile since I posted. I want to know you thougts about my latest drs. appt. I had a fusion in Nov of 06 on L4 to S1 w/a lami. My reason for going was find out what he has diagnosed me with since I'm still having continued back pain, leg and foot nurabness in my right leg which is starting to also happen in the left leg from my knee down to my toes. This doc has released me since August and said there is nothing he can do for me. He took x-rays and said his usual BS about everything looks real well and that I'm fusing. My response to him was why am I having so many issues then? I told him my symptoms the shooting pain on the left side of my lower back along with constant pain when doing anything. I ask him about the nurabness he said it should go away(previously had an EMG which showed nerve damage) I guess he forgot about that. Now we all know that if it doesn't go away in 6 months it most likely won't. What he doesn't know is that I saw a neuro doc who diagnosed me as having FBS. I compared the x-rays to the x-rays from after surgery they look exactly the same as the first ones. I just don't understand why drs. are such aholes. Right now i'm trying to get in with this neuro doc to see what he can do for me if anything. I just want my life back I'm tired of pills and not feeling clear minded and being unbalenced it's really not a good place to be.
