Just tethered my Samsung A737 to my Macbook for a couple minutes, will I get charged?

I just moved and have been without internet for days. I forgot that I could tether my Samsung A737 phone to my macbook and use it as a modem. I linked it, and surfed to one webpage, then realized that AT&T might be charging me for this, lol. I figured I would need a data plan for it to work but I only have like a limited # of text data plan. Does AT&T charge for this and if so how much would I get charged just for surfing for like 2 min?

you need to call at&t and add a data plan before you teather. It uses a lot of bandwith. If you call, they can back order a data plan so you don't wind up paying anything for using it. You aren't charged for time spent on the internet, your charged for how much data you generate
