Just saw Batman Begins

My friend got it on dvd and we watched it and, well...it was ok. The Scarecrow was a rubbish villain and the other two didnt even do anything. The acting was realy wooden apart from Bale and Katie Holmes who was no way as bad as everyone says. Great ending to setup what will hopefully be a much better sequel!

Also i was wondering isnt batman supposed to be a super hero? he didnt have any special powers or anything he was just a human with some cool gadgets...that Bat sonic thing was awesome. Scarecrow was a joke! I thought he woul dbe like the Joker who falls into some toxic waste and becomes who he is but he was a nobody with zero personality and the stupidest mask ever. Bring on Batman 2!!!

Batman is a super hero, he has no super powers, but is a fantastically conditioned, trained and intelligent man.
Look deeper into the Batman universe, you dont need super speed, or be able to leap tall buildings with a single bound to be a super hero. (if they were real)

If this was from film critics, then they are always trying to rubbish someone's acting ability, whether it be because they are awkward, or just because they simply don't like them. Haven't seen Batman Returns yet, but i'm going to very soon though.

iv seen it a few times and Kaite Holmes is bad in it, their isnt much point of her character in the film really, jus as a love interest for Batty. apart from that its a good film and the future looks good for Batman films if all the other are made similar to this.

Saw this film at the cinema and really enjoyed it. Much better than the last couple of Batman films. Hopefully the planned sequals will be as good if not better again.

Batman Begins is not a film to be seen first on DVD. Its one of those films which must be seen at the cinema in order to gain the full effect. You might own the biggest screen, have the best sound system but I truly believe nothing can surpass seeing this film where it belongs.

That goes for all action films really. At the end of the day, if you're into a movie, you'll go and see it at the pictures in all it's glory. If you wait for it to come on dvd then you're not that bothered seeing it in the first place so it would have to be exceptional for you to like it.

Mr Material- I am an obsessed film fan and I see most films on dvd because I can't stand going to the cinema because the experience is nearly always spoilt, just because someone sees a film only on dvd doesn't mean they are any less into the film, don't lump everyone into that please.

Lol. I seriously thought you guys were kidding saying the movie was average to poor. Are you guys for real? Lol.

I guess everyone has difference expectations though.

Some of you would have probably preferred Vin Diesel or Jean Claude Van Damme cast as Batman. You would have preferred Batman to fly around like Superman and leap like the Hulk. You would have preferred the razzle dazzle pointless blasts. Thank God Batman Begins is none of that.

Batman Begins has been widely recognised as the best Comic to Film movie for years. It sure as hell beats the cheese of Spiderman (it

I thought it was good, not as great as everyone says it was but solid.

And all the performances were good, i'm even ready to admit Katie Holmes' performance was alright but i dont like her acting style so i still didn't like her. But i'd never call her a bad actress as i know she isn't.

I watched it at the theatre. I read nothing about it nor knew anything of it. That statagy was obviously the right one for me as I was blown away by how good it was.

I'm not a superhero fan (though I do enjoy the movies) so I didn't know what to expect. It's truelly darker and a more realistic (for a superhero flick) version which I prefered to the Tim Burton films.

I enjoyed the acting and Bale made a great Batman - not sure about Michael Caine(sp?) as Alfred but did like Freeman's charactor (top actor). As for Katie Holmes perfomance, it was good. Liam Neeson is always brilliant in what ever he's in so...

I watched Star Wars Revenge of the Syth a few weeks earlier at the theatre and found that to be rather flat - I'm a SW fan, too.

I have been a HUGE Batman fan since i was very young growing up on watching Adam West on Saturday mornings!! then the frist of Tim Burtons versions came out and thought it was soooo cool and the best ever!! Returns i liked but not as much wasnt overly impressed and got annoyed with the Peguin but i did like the fact Walken was in it :p hes great!!
now oh my god what did Warner think they were donig letting Schumacher get his mits on them?? think he tried to go for that feel of hte old series but failed big time!!also too many way to many big mnames and wasting of very important character Bain being one of them!! oh and making Batgil alfreRAB neice!! he absolutly ruined them hence i never thought there would be another Batman film ever again!!!
Then we hard about Batman Begins being made!! was very wary till i hear dhow Nolan was sticking to the comics and not changing who people are!! and who does what!! he did a great job in showing how Bruce became Batman and showing hes not all perfect to me this has to have been THE best Batman film there has ever been made!! and i hope they carry on and try to best as possible keep the same regular cast and not to go for big name stars unless they are really gonna be good at the role!!
