Just installed Bad A$$ Light!

I think losing my tail light would be the least of my worries.....Hell, my kickstand cost over $300.....four bolts and three minutes would net you $800 worth of chrome off my bike easy.....crap now i cant sleep

i installed my bal 1 or 2, can't remember, but it rocks. only thing is that i've not figured out how to change the pattern to a fast flash for the brake light. i've gotten to a place where i have like three flashes per second, speeding up every five seconds or so. guess i may have to tie into the white lead with the 12v + so i can adjust the light pattern manually, as the magnet is confusing at best for me. damm, those suckers are truly bright ass lights though.

a side note that made it easier for me, was to put a riding glove on the grip and brake lever. it holds the brake light on while adjusting with the magnet, and far easier than a bungee or zip tie.

There really should be no need to change any wiring to access the many "brake modes". Just plug it in to the stock brake light outlight. You do need to have the brake on while passing the magnet over the location described in the instructions. I keep a zip tie in my bag that has already been set to easily slip over the brake handle to keep the brakes on. Once the brakes are on, you just need to keep passing the magnet over the designated location and the brake light will keep changing "modes" on each pass.

To change the brightness of the running light, just take the zip tie off the brake handle and pass the magnet over the light to change to either normal, +2% or +10+ brightness. I use +2% brightness running light. +10% looks like your brake is being applied all the time.

I hooked a long bunjee to the brake lever so I could just pull on it from the rear of the bike. That way I could repeatedly activate the flash that only lasts for the first few seconds after the lever is pulled.

Ummmm blinding oncoming drivers....with a taillight? Just sayin.

I put a BAL-1 on mine...best 190 bucks I spent...set it to #2 on normal and #3 strobe effect when the brake is on, along with the HD rear turn signal brake setup. I have noticed the cages stopping a car length or more behind me now.

Ok so I'm totally sold on the Brightass Tail Light BAL-1.
Definitely a must have!!!

Anyone care to share with us where you might get them discounted. Yeah I know you can't put a price on SAFETY but if I can save a bit it sure would be nice.....If not Ok I'll surely bite the bullet and pay the list price.

Anyone care to offer up a better place to buy the AWESOME Brightass LED Tail lights???

GARY
