They are very cheap and should not cost more than about a fiver a side but there is a lot to dismantle for an ameteur as they have to be slipped over the CVs with the wheels, braks and hubs off usually.
If they were holed or torn it would have been a fail so the tester has noticed that they are looking close to being holed - your choice as they might last ages yet.
