I turned on my tv this morning and it was working normal until i pressed the list button to watch a recorded show. A message came up saying that they had updated my receiver to 3d in case i had a 3d tv. it then said to hit ok to exit the message. I did that and immediately my screen went black. I pressed various buttons on my remote, but it did nothing. I turned the tv off with it though, so i know the batteries are not dead. Then I tried pressing buttons on my receiver but they didn't work either. i then did the reset by pushing the red button inside the card panel. The receiver reset itself and the channel that was there before came back on. I pushed the buttons on the remote again, but still nothing. Same deal with the receiver. I tried calling Direct tv customer service at all three numbers but one is always busy and the other two have an automated lady that says "Your call did not go through, please try again". WHAT IS GOING ON! I want to know how to fix this and watch tv, and i have shows set to record to day!
Just had 3d upgrade to my direct tv receiver, now it won't work!?
