I just got my n95 yesterday and was playing with it all day. Today I tried the navigation system and the phone froze on me. I tried removing the battery and reinserte it back, but that didnt work. Now the phone will not start up, all I can see is the nokia logo but it is dosen't go anywhere. Any ideas??? Please help....

try this maybe?

"Make sure you phone is fully charged.
Backup your contacts list and personal files to MMC memory card (if possible).
Switch-off your phone.
Press and hold these three keys together:
Green dial key,
Star key (*)
Three key (3)
Press the power on/off to switch on the phone.
Do not let go the three keys until you see the "formatting" screen displayed. After a few minutes, the format will be complete. Your phone will now be at its original factory settings."

These are the kind of stories that make me wonder if I should wait until Nokiausa.com offers it with the 1 year warranty. Rcadden said it would be up when the Flagship stores made it available but it's not up yet. Perhaps Monday considering it's the weekend. I've yet to brick a phone and i've upgraded tons of phones but i'll be damned if this thread doesnt scare me. That built in GPS is the one thing that scared me and now this poor soul has the most expensive piece of obsolete plastic ever made.

AFAIK from the Nokia Staff..

They will not be releasing this phone on their website..

Only Flagship Stores.. I don't even know the 2nd Shipping Date..

Also before I left the Store Last night.. I clarified the warranty policy..

Thank God they support bricked phones!

Is that friend you...yourself..........and you!!

Is it possible to try to reflash that phone? Where did you get it? did they offer you warranty?

I think so.. Before I left there were 4 units left..

And it was open to the public.. Cause one of the HoFoers that I know bought 2. He will keep 1 and sell 1.

Cause after the listed people were accommodated, they had to open it to the public. So people from the list started buying multiple purchased.

That's a lot of units in a short amount of time. Only in NY I guess....If they had the same offering here in D.C. I think 3 units would have been sold....and the rest stolen
