Just got Motorola VE240 - Says "BOOTLOADER USB INIT"

thank you very much,

i downloaded it, used rsd lite,

it didint find the phone,

so i downloaded the moto driver software update tools,
installed it.

then i ran rsd lite, and it read the phone, loaded the shx file.. and clicked start.

bam done.

now i got a P.o.s. phone again.

after i allready spent 15 dollars converting to another old one.

DAMN!
 
Got my phone yesterday... Made one test call and it worked fine. Tried to start the game "Music Millionaire" and the screen went blank and then blue with BOOTLOADER USB INIT at the bottom. Taking the battery out or cycling power brings up the same. Tried pressing power, * and # and it just resets to the same screen. Left the battery out over night, same problem... Anything I can do?

so does anyone know how i can get the full flash for this phone?? i have the text and sms, i need the wap and mms..... downloaded the monster from rapid, will that do it?? when i unzip it, it says:

anyone got a clean version??
 
As far as i know the Flash file is not out there for the phone, i do know there will be a upgrade for it as far as Cricket has stated from a Memo i got, but to keep things simple, you just got it, go and take it back and have them exchange it. If the store you got it from wont take it back then just go to the cricket retial store and have them do it.
 
yeah.. there was a firmware issue with these phones. and they must be returned. even corp stores are not flashing them. they are being flashed by brightpoint only to new firmware. all phones shipped since last monday have the new firmware on them.
 
hello i am also in need of the firmware all the links i have found are dead. i am on metro pcs. i would prefer a monster file. i am pretty sure it doesnt matter who it is branded too as long as i saved all the nam, prl etc info. i have saved it in qpst and rsd general. also have my seems backed up.

what i would like to know on top of all this, is it possible to rip the current firmware from my phone for backup?

please anything to get my DUN working on my ve240 would be appreciated.
 
edited: i have to take that back, this flash appears to work, i was able to flash a dead device, but i have no battery for it so i can't turn it on. it is not stuck on bootloader anymore tho.
 
I love this flash file because I get to reflash Cricket phones tainted by Houdini for Pocket. Need it to reset the mms and net settings.

below is the Cricket Monster That will give your phone the straight from cricket Flash, The default security code i believe is either 1234 or 0000, The spc is preset to "000000"(thats six zero's for those like me who cant tell)

Sorry to bump this old thread, but I'm looking for the Monster file as well....does anyone have a working like that I could get it from? thanks
 
just to check this firmware will work on metro? after i set it up with the prl and all that data from qpst or rsd general?

also if so what is the main data i will need to get the phone working? im pretty sure i know but i just want to make sure. pretty much everything from qpst? or should i use what i got from rsd general? also what program should i use to flash this and is there anything i need to do to the program to get it to work? because when i try to flash with rsd general i get a problem.

basicly it cant pick up the carrier and phone model but it gets all the rest. i can program/reprogram the phone but not flash it. i think i can get it to flash with moto pst. but im not sure. please this is my first cdma flash. and it seems to be a very unsupported phone.

sorry for so many questions but id rather know before i screw it all up.
