Just got a Phoenix flashing failed error at 97%

well sorry to say that u bricked your phone...iunlock will be your best friend for fixing your phone now~ (did it brick or not?)

why were you using Phoenix anymore? With NSS you can change region codes and everything, Phoenix should be a thing of the past.

Well I wanted to try dead phone flashing and have 163 installed but it seems that the firmware release has to support dead phone flashing and all the N80 firmware I've seen doesn't.

People had used 163 to do dead phone flashing and recovery their bricked N80.

bricking means your phone is nothing more than a brick to u...aka no use.

I can get 163 to show that it will allow dead flashing but not with any of the firmware releases. I believe the actual release has to support dead phone flashing and if it doesn't it's not going to work. Secondly I think given that my first flash attempt didn't complete that FBUS flashing is the only option.

Well I went and bought a JAF Flasher and now my phone after FBUS flashing is up and running again.
