just got a job at a clothing shop at the mall, any TIPS ? :)?

im 17years old and i just got a job to work at a clothing shop(for ladies) at the mall, and this will be my first time working at the mall.
ANY TIPS? like how to be a "good saleswomen"
i get a raise if the sales goes up ;)

well anyways, the trick to being a good saleslady is to be polite, helpful, nice, and yourself [natural] [not too salesperon-ish][like the sham-wow guy!]. try to not beg the costumers to buy something or persuade them too much if something isn't right for them, simply assist them in finding another option. ;D
at the end of the day you might have a costumer that spends hours in the store and leaves empty handed, but for the most part that was probably their fault. your job is to do the most you can and the best job that you can asisting and helping and catering to the costumers needs.
that way you can never go wrong.
