Just curious: Why do people even give outlandish conspiracy theories the time of day?

Specifically 911 conspiracy theories in particular. a little common sense and critical thinking would tell you they are ridiculous. For example the WTC tube in tube design was to prevent lateral movement. Therefore it couldn't tip and fell according to the way it was designed. Not to mention the largest building ever demolished by CD was not even 1/4th the size of the WTC and it took 7 months to rig. Somebody would have noticed if the WTC was rigged with explosives. Not to mention the North tower was only 300 feet from base to base with WTC 7 and when it fell it essentially landed on WTC 7. Not to mention WTC 7 was built ontop of a electricity substation which means it's design was not typical.
Rocketstar-He was referring to "Pull" the firefighters out of WTC 7 and just let it burn as nobody was in that building. they didn't want to risk losing anymore lives. He wasn't referring to "demolishing it".

Because President Kennedy WAS assassinated in a vast conspiracy that continues today.

I don't know all the facts about 9/11 but I do know that the person who was in charge and owned the lease on those buildings, of WTC7 was told that they were going to have to "pull" the building which is demolition lingo for a controlled demolition with explosives. No one can deny this because it is on video being said by that man, Larry Silverstein.

Now what say you?

I have heard it opined that those who engage in this behavior, do so to feel superior to others. They get gratification from believing only THEY have the answer. Common sense and logic are suspended to achieve this. It is similar to those religious zealots who form cults.
