...however already titled 1st car.HELP? 1) Bought a Ford E-150 Van from seller on Saturday.
2) Transferred title and registered vehicle in my name on Tuesday.
3) Currently sending new title (which takes 4 weeks to issue) to CA ( where I am moving to) from the MA RMV.
4) Went to mechanic today (7/24) to get the inspection sticker on the van (needed to do so by 7/29).
5) Van needs major, major, major repair.
6) Returned van to seller, and he agreed to sell a different car of his to me (Hyundai Sonata)
7) Both cars are passenger vehicles, so I may be able to transfer the plates and registration, however the question remains:
a) How do I transfer ownership of the van back to the seller, now that it's officially in my name at the RMV and the title is being sent to CA?
b) Is there some sort of law for rejection of a vehicle, even post registration/title transfer? If so, can I request negation of new title being sent to CA?
