I've just bought a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 and I absolutely love it.
The dealers I got it from, got the truck from an auction.
3 Questions:
#1) I put $20 in the gas tank and it only filled it up halfway. Is this normal???
(Sorry, but I'm a newb to trucks so I'm learning).
The dealer told me the truck gets about 18-20 mpg.
They also told me it had about 70,000 miles on it which is awesome and I only paid about $14,000 for it.
#2) On the inside, it didn't come with a vehicle instruction manual... I thought when you buy a vehicle, it's supposed to come with a manual. Is this true in all cases????
#3) Also, I turned on the stereo to normal volume, and it sounded fine, but when I turned it up loud, the sound became kind of muffled and sounded like it was going in and out a little... what does this mean???
I did get the vin #, insurance, registration, etc.
This is my first vehicle and I just wanted to make sure everything is ok (I might be too paranoid about it ha ha)
If you could answer those three questions, or even add helpful advice, it'd be great, thanks!
