Just a little gizmo for getting air into spoked rims

I made this one up along with a gauge supplied. The chuck has a clip to keep it on the stem and then I can add the air with both my hands free. Had to grind down the outside diamter of the chuck so it would fit over the stem that is too close to a spoke.

This looks like something many of us could use.

I was noting yesterday that, with the upgraded tire package on my Ultra Limited, adding air and checking air pressures, particularly to the front tire, is gonna be a bitch.

Something like what you've crafted here could be just the right tool for the job!

What is the larger circular part of it? A grip of some sort to hold it onto the valve stem?
Looks useful for spoke rims though for sure. I had them on my Softail.

I made something similar from pics someone posted on this forum. I can't wait until I change the rims on my bike. When I do, I will also install some angled valves.

Until then...I curse the H-D engineers for such a chit design.

I found on the road a 90 degree valve extender allows me to use any air station. I picked up one of these and keep in my saddle bags.

I have the Ez-Air Gauge for home and the 90 valve extension for the road.
Plus the Pocket Tire Plugger - For All

I keep the 90 degrees in my saddle bags and works great.
I'm religious about air pressure, check it before every ride. I use the EZ-Gauge at home and it works great. After two years I've learn to just pull the left saddlebag off to get to the rear rather then roll / stop / roll till I find the stem.
