Just a financial question?

So, I'm 18 and a full time College Student.

I have roughly $2,000 in my bank account from working about 25-30 hours a week, and I've been stuck at 2 grand for a while now, with my car payments each month, phone bills, food, etc.

For some reason I feel as though I should have about $4-$5,000 in there, you know?

So what I'm really asking here is, is do you think $2,000 in my bank account is low for someone my age? Should I have more?
