1--A shadow (i first thought cloud)
2--Roosters are male chickens, hens lay eggs
3--Don't bury people alive!
4--Sorry i've heard this one before hope i'm not cheating o-hi(as in high)-o the state OHIO
5--sorry i know this one too there is no mail on Sun. so it was the maid

1) Only one color, but not one size,
Stuck at the bottom, yet easily flies.
Present in sun, but not in rain,
Doing no harm, and feeling no pain.
What is it?

2) A rooster lays an egg on a roof. What side of the roof does the egg fall?

3) A plane crashes on the border of the US and Canada. Where do you bury the survivors?

4) What is round on the outside but high in the middle?

5) A man was found murdered on Sunday morning. His wife immediately called the police. The police questioned the wife and staff and got these alibis:
The Wife said she was sleeping.
The Cook was cooking breakfast.
The Gardener was picking vegetables.
The Maid was getting the mail.
The Butler was cleaning the closet.

The police instantly arrested the murdered. Who did it and how did they know?
 
1 - A Shadow (It is only gray but it changes size with the sun. It is always at your feet (bottom) but can still fly (move around). It is out only when the light (the sun) is out.)

2 - Roosters don't lay eggs; chickens do.

3 - You don't bury survivors; they're alive.

4 - Ohio (as in o-HI-o)

5 - It was the Maid. She said she was getting the mail, and there is no mail on Sunday! (next day air and email doesn't count)
