Jurassic Tungsten T

Do you have a screen protector? If so, take it off and see if the helps. Check all the edges of the screen to make sure no debris have gotten lodged between the casing and the screen. Using compressed air to clean out these edges is a good idea. If none of the helps. go through a series of resets as outlined at http://tinyurl.com/6c9tk . If the screen still isn't responding, you have a hardware fault. This could range from a loose screen cable to a total digitizer failure. If you're comfortable taking your Palm apart, you can do so and check that all the ribbon cables are securely seated. Otherwise, it will need professional repair.

Thanks for your help Jim. I was doing a hard reset when this happened, and the digitiser came up on screen, and won't react. If you've no further thoughts, please help me find a link to a web page that will tell me how to take apart the palm without wrecking it. I've already removed the IR base, but I don't want to use force to get the back and front off. There's probably a simple trick of the trade involved.
Thanks again for your interest, I live in ireland, and the nearest maintenance centre is Holland, so i don;t want to do without my 2nd-brain for 3 weeks if i can do the work myself..!
