In December of 2008 it was predicted that the jobless rate would hit 10% by the middle of 2009, well here it is 2009 and while 9.5% is high, that number actually represents a 5% slower growth in the jobless rate than was predicted.
What caused this?
No one can say for sure, but the one thing we do know for certain is that the Dems have been in control and George Bush is in retirement.
