I am following a ketogenic diet for the next eight to twelve weeks for the purpose of stripping body fat and maintaining muscle mass. In addition to the diet below, I am doing moderate cardio four times a week (and perhaps more as the diet progresses) and intense weight lifting five times a week. Without further ado, my diet:
Breakfast: 4 whole eggs
Meal 2: 2 scoops whey protein, 1 tbsp Natural PB (post-workout)
Meal 3: 8 oz. skinless chicken breast, 1 tbsp. hummus, 10 kalamata olives, 1/4 cup mixed nuts (cashews, almonds, walnuts, pecans)
Meal 4: 8 oz. new york strip steak, small salad, 1 tbsp. olive oil
Meal 5: Same as meal 3
The important numbers are as follows: 2,562 calories, 256g protein, 37.5g carbs, 122g fat. I'm 5'10'' and 170 lbs.
