The whole idea of GCSE art is to arrive at your final project through sketchbooking and exploration of the theme. You don't have to draw everything. You can cut out pictures, put in newspaper or Internet articles -- do anything that suggests a personal or real journey. My son did an A level art theme on "ritual" and he ended up doing a collage on OCD, while other kids did things on religion and even pagan dance. You can photograph travelers at stations or airports, put in travel brochures, get literature from substance abuse clinics -- anything that suggests getting from one place to another. his has to be your interpretation -- no one can tell you what to do.
