Josie And The Pussycats revival?

I talked about this in another thread, but really this should be talked in its own thread.

What do you think would you welcome a Josie revival? More specficly one that is true to the Archie Comics version?

I have thought about this for years, the success of the latest Scooby Doo series which incorporates the Archie style teen angist really strenghen my resolve that it could work.

I am thinking what the TMNT 2003 was for the Turtles franches, even though the first cartoon series was very popular and the mainstream is more familar with that than the comics, they still did a series is more true to the comic book version though still have some aspects of the first cartoon series.

I am thinking the same for Josie, a combination of Archie and Hanna Barbara versions. Still have the touring around the world and the villain of the week plots (considering in my opinion, the Archie comics plots on their own might be too boring for a animated series) also have some shorts at the beginning and end for the episodes. But have them act like the Archie Comics version.

Have Alexander be the snob that he always was, the Alan / Alexander rivalory, Melody fan service and being admired by guys, Josie and Valerie jealous of the attention Melody receives from guys.

Though the one thing I would love the most is to see the Archie comics version of Alexander Cabot III animated. We have never seen Alex the jerk animated.

Yeah but that was kept in the HB version, that is in every version of Josie, so no point in mentioning that. That goes without saying.

Well I don't like the sound of this.. if it's going too be like Totally Spies then no thanks.

I liked the old Josie and the pussycats show when it aired and if it had the same stuff that made "Mystery inc" into an cool show, then I'm all for it.
Though just not a balant ripoff.
