Joining the military with history of anxiety?

I've been taking Paxil (lowest dose) for several years for general anxiety, and am looking to join the Navy Reserves or Army Reserves. From what I can tell, this automatically goes to a medical appeal. I've never been hospitalized for it, no big panic attacks, no major incidents, just your garden-variety anxiety. Is it common/uncommon for people to be allowed to serve with a history like this? Even if allowed to serve, would I be required to go off my meds ahead of time?

Note: Don't worry, I would never stop my medication without consulting my doctor, and would only enlist if I found that I still functioned well without the medication.
