So my fiance is thinking about joining the army, or other branch, and we are so lost...We have no money and like a lot of young couples, saw the military as an escape. We have no idea about the pay or anything. i have a few issues to ask about, please answer as best you can! anything will help! thank you!
1.college? is it for sure? i have heard about people who got turned down for help for college by the army
2. housing? where will we possibly live? will they help us with housing or is it just his pay that covers it
3. army reserves?
4. i heard you can go to another country and live there, and come home everyday like a day job and not have to be shipped off anywhere, unless they need you
5. without sounding like a wimp (just me being a pussy) what kind of jobs can he get in the army without having to fight?
6. is his pay going to be enough to support us?
7. when we go to the recruiter for more info, what should we ask????
