Joining Army Vs. Air Force?

I'm torn between joining either the Air Force or Army. I have a wife and one year old son, so I've heard the Air Force is better for that, but I want to join quickly and joining the Air Force is anything but quick. Are the deployment time spans really that different the two branches(I'm not worried about being deployed, just heard Air Forces usually last 3 months and Army last much longer)? I know if I was single, it'd be Army all the way, anyone have insight? Please no comments like get a divorce or whatever.

Go Air Force, its better for your family and will give you skills and abilities that will transfer over to the private sector better

ok my bro is in the army but look into it and talk to the recruiters they will anwer your questions or just go to their online websiteboth navy and army recruiters[inform yourself don't base your decision on what you heard]

Either way you go you'll be fine. There are tens of thousands of people, in each branch that are married, and they are getting along just fine. I would say that it is easier in the air force, the overall quality of life is better. However The army will take care of you and your family.
I think this is one of those questions where the correct answer is, whats best for you. Obviously your family comes first, but there isn't going to be much of a difference there. So then the tie breaker is, where would YOU be happier? Which branch is going to give you a job doing what you want to do? Which Branch is most likely to station you where you want to live? Your family will be fine, it's time for you to be a little selfish and choose what is the best fit for you.
