Joing military (reserves) with a recent possesion of marijuana in California.?

I am 18 years old and recently graduated from High School. I have always thought about joining the military but recently i was cited for a minor possesion of marijuana. This is so recent that I havent even been to court yet. My question is, will this possesion, especially since its so recent prevent me from joining ANY military branch anytime soon????
