Kerry was swift boated- I always amazed how they took a 3x purple heart solider and made him look soft and inexperienced on the military- when Bush way MIA in Oklahoma-
 
well said... I am keep repeating myself when the questions asked about McCain.. He is an opportunist and lair and also the biggest flip flop in US history.. Republicans think American people are idiots & whiners ... you know what they will know pretty soon.. We check the facts before we believe the lies they are throwing around...Palin and McCain is a great couple but they are just deceiving themselves NOT US.
 
first off, Kerry was quite consistent, it was the Bushaganda that cut and pasted together a view that made it look that way, but when you take part of a question and part of the answer, you can make it sound like anything you want. As for McCain he doesn't flip flop. He had opinions and positions but in 2006 he re-did them all and has stuck with his "new" policies. Although he does wave around his 20 year record like he's always thought this way. I guess he just did one big FLIP!
 
I agree with jdog. Democrats, in most of the past elections, have been taken over by the far left of their party. This turns off a big chunk of the american voting populous, including moderate democrats. McCain was nominated this year, because enough of the party is moderate that he got the nod. That may bode well down the stretch as the middle begins to make up its mind. Obama is among the farthest left of the those that the dems could have nominated and, like with Kerry, Gore, and Carter it may come back to haunt them. Clinton lasted 8 years because he was a moderate and was able to capture some of the moderate Repubs. Obama will not.
 
I agree with you, McCain changes his mind all the time and no one says anything. His ads are outright lies for instance big government and oil prices will sore under Obama but the prices are already high under Bush.

the democrats are so radical and hostile that they cant understand if they would jsut govern more to the center they would probably hold power...
