I can't think of much to say so I'll keep it short.
I've always been a fan of John Grisham novels and I've read all of them up to the latest "The King Of Torts", they all have great plots and are terrific Hollywood material or at least Hollywood used to think so. I think the last one made was either The Rainmaker or The Chamber, but there have been some great stories since then.
The Runaway Jury could have rivalled The Insider for dishing the dirt on the tobacco indusrty.
A Painted House could have rivalled Driving Miss Daisy, Forrest Gump etc.
The Summons would make a good TVM, and I think The King Of Torts has been the best of all, easily blockbuster material on the same form as the Firm. In fact this latest bestseller has a feel very similair to the Firm, I just don't understand why Hollywood hasn't been interested in making John Grisham's novels into films recently?
