Jews: Respectfully, why was there a woman prophet judging Israel in Judges 4:4?

In Numbers 27:7-9 the daughters of Zelophahad recieved their inheritance in the place of men in the family because there were no sons, is this what happened with Deborah the prophetess according to Jewish tradition/knowledge/history - were there no men who could fill the role of prophet or is this a play on wording - or...I understood the role of prophet was largely held by men, or even exclusively....I'm a bit puzzled.

What is the Jewish tradition or history on this subject?

Thanks for your help!

Thank you!
