The title pretty much explains my question. Thanks in advance for your time and answers!

Why follow the law of Noah when we have the ten commandments ?.

To Phoenix: OK, but all monotheistic religions believe in Moise.
I think he's more important than Noah.

Jesus was a Jew. He has a new teaching about God but he never said the old teaching was not OK. He said the new teaching was the new way. This is called revelation. His life is the Revelation as well as his teachings. He did not say you must believe me He said this is the new teachings, the new way, not the only way.

Revelation is a technique whereby ages upon ages of time are saved in the necessary work of sorting and sifting the errors of evolution from the truths of spirit acquirement.

Since everyone is supposedly a descendant of Noah, they are supposed to follow the 7 Noahide laws given to Noah after the flood.

Generally, it means that all good people are OK. Seems like a reasonable attitude.

And even very bad people are thought to go through a limited period of cleansing so everyone eventually goes to heaven. You don't have to learn of and believe a specific and bizarre story.

People can accept these wise Jewish ideas without converting to Judaism.

answer: Yes, Judaism teaches that righteous people outside of Judaism can reach G-d and heaven. That's why they don't try and convert everyone and conversion isn't an easy process. You don't need to be Jewish to reach G-d.

That said, if you want Jewish answers, you REALLY need to post this Saturday. It's Yom Kippur, a high holy day in Judaism and Friday is the sabbath, many of our Jewish friends are off line.
