Jetset Technical Problem

I just got a text message today from cricket telling me that there is a technical problem with my jetset, and to go into a store and have them update it for free.

So I went into the store, a corp owned, and I got the same answer I always get when I go into one of there stores which is come back next week.

Does anyone know what this update is, and is there a place that I can get it, I am growing thin of waiting on the cricket stores telling me next week.

Oh ok. No issues with that, just a issue that if a text is about 145 characters or so, it has a general delivery fail, 145+ fail everytime.

I guess my signal can be jumpy at times, but never roaming, and I am in the AWS market almost all the time.

So a direct store would be a corp owned store?
 
yes. they should have it installed already, but i wouldn't waste my time going in there and arguing with them if your phone is working fine now.. you probably will be ok if you go back in a couple weeks. additionally:

This is an extremely isolated issue. There are currently less than 1000 JetSet customers in Cricket AWS markets and we believe that a very small nuraber of these JetSet customers will encounter this technical issue. To ensure all customers are receiving the best network coverage possible, we are encouraging all JetSet customers to have their hanRABets upgraded.
 
Ok sounRAB good, I will head down there in a few weeks. I'd love if they could fix that text messaging issue :). Other then that the phone works great. To bad samsung doesn't have a update app like moto phones do.

FYI, I don't go down there and argue with them, I go down there, they tell me come back next week, and I leave and come here and find the actual solution. Heh.
 
i wasn't implying that you do. but sometimes it is nescessary to get them to do something for you, and I don't think this case would warrant that unless your phone was experiencing this problem.
 
Funny you mention that.

Onne time I did have a problem with cricket, they gave one of my #'s to someone else, added 2 new phones that I didn't buy, and shut off the service to my main phone. In the end it was all corrected, just annoying.

I went in, and the guy said you are incredibly calm, thanks for not being mad. I asked him, if I got mad would it fix the problem, he was just kinda shocked.

I have found cricket reps to be a little past useless with the phone software, but the managers are decent at fixing accounts.

I will head into a cricket store in a few weeks and have them toss the update on my phone. If I know there is a update, I need to have it.
