Jesus never wrote a book. So, we don't know for sure how he thought of himself. Did he think of himself as divine? Did he believe the end of the world was near? Was he a good student at the village school? Did he ever make mistakes in his Hebrew class? Who were his frienRAB when he was growing up? And most of all, did he come to earth with the intentions of dying - a kind of suicide mission to save the world. (A People's Life of Jesus)

These questions arise in the minRAB of many of Jesus' followers. No matter if Jesus thought he was divine or not, he is looked as to be divine in our everyday society. We do not know if Jesus thought of himself as an everyday person, or if he knew what he was sent here to do. This question will probably never be answered for us today, but maybe in the afterworld.

God sent down a spirit to be born his only son, Jesus. The divine plan for Jesus was that as a child He should lead a hidden, normal life. In Nazareth, Jesus quietly grew to maturity, to all appearances just as any other normal boy. But, as he grew and matured, he would start His adventure through life to show people the meaning of life. In this paper, I will give many reasons why people saw Jesus as a deviant, but in reality, why he was not.

People in the days of Jesus had every reason to think Jesus was crazy and deviant. Look at how we view people in our society today who think they are the chosen one, who have been sent down from God or think they are some kind of God. Society looks at these people as crazy and as a threat to our everyday society. These people could just as easily be God's second son, but society sees these people just as they saw Jesus back then.

For a man to be able to walk across water, move mountains, and make a blind man see, were unthinkable acts for the people around him. Some of the people believed in what he could do and did, and others did not believe even in what they saw. Jesus had many followers, but many enemies also. Jesus always spoke of His Father, God, who no one really knew, but just went along with his teachings.

"All things that the Father has are mine." "All things have been delivered to be by my Father; and no one knows the Son except the Father; nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and him to whom the Son chooses to reveal him." Jesus once said. (Jesus, The Divine Teacher) People could not understand that Jesus had a Father that was not visible, but who supposedly created the earth. This was hard for people to accept when it was happening in front of them, just as it is for society today to accept.

No matter how upset Jesus got, he never let his feelings show. If someone were to slap his right cheek, he would turn and tell him or her to slap the left one. Jesus would give up his clothing for a naked person, and give his last piece of bread to a starving person. Jesus, in reality, was a good person, but most people saw him as someone who spoke crazily of someone that no one had ever seen before. Jesus was doing what his father had wanted him to do, but do we not have people today that claim to be doing the same thing. Think of how we view them? This is probably how the people who had the privilege to see Jesus or know him, thought of him. Some believed, just as some believe those today, but others did not. The ones who did not believe ended up nailing Jesus to a cross to die.

Jesus died for the human race, and no matter how many religions we have today, or how many different beliefs there are out there, most of them revolve around one person, God. In our every day life, we are supposed to act, as Jesus would have if he would have been faced with the same problem. But do we actually do this?

We have to think of how society views people today who think they were sent down from someone. Most see these people of not of the social norm and a out there. Some of these people do have followers, just as Jesus did, but for the most part, people just look at them from and laugh, just as people did to Jesus.
