Hiroshima, Get Over it

... by condemning slave owners and taking property away from them?
Is that why the cost in terms of life and mangled soldiers was so high and why it took so long --- because it was an unjust war?

Jesus never said to use nuclear bombs either. It doesn't mean it's a good idea,

Try "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."

Jesus didn't say that land occupied by the Native Americans could be stolen either. It was not their property to keep and it was always my understanding that you work for what you get, not work someone else for nothing to get what you want. Don't put Jesus into your way of thinking. Man is who messed up.

Jesus had no 'Bible' ... this book is a relatively new invention created by men not any 'god'.
His teaching, however, invoked the 'golden rule' which states "Do unto others as you would wish them do unto you." So this covers the question of slavery!

the bible contradicts itself so much, that people like you will always look for interpretations of it to feed your disillusioned soul!

Actually Lincoln didn't give a spit about the slaves. He used them when the people in the North wanted to just let the south go. He was all about keeping the USA together at any cost. If he really cared about black slaves, he would have freed the ones in Northern areas.
He was a dictator and a tyrant who got his just reward for his actions.

No. Lincoln did the right thing for the circumstance at the time as did Jesus. The two men are two thousand years apart, which makes the comparison very strange. I like that you think that way though. Merry Christmas (and it's OK to say that).

Your historical time line has some major flaws. Rest assured, Jesus would not be a big supporter of slavery.
