Jesus didn't meet the requirements of the Messiah's heritage?

The Messiah will be a descendant of David via David's son Solomon via his paternal line. Jesus was not.

1. If God was his father...
God's not a descendant of David.

2. Joseph's heritage...
Lineage is not passed on through adoption.

3. If you want to count Joseph's heritage...
Though Joseph is a descendant of King David, Joseph's from the line of Jeconiah as well and thus neither Joseph nor his descendants can succeed to the throne of Israel.

4. Mary's heritage...
Mary's heritage doesn't count. Kingship is not passed through the mother.

4. If you want to count Mary's heritage...
Mary is a descendant of David via Nathan, Solomon's brother. This would disqualify Mary and her descendants.
Cardimom, did you not read my post? I clearly said that even if you want to count Mary's heritage, she's from the wrong line. She's from Nathan. Not Solomon.
Israel, The status as Jew is passed on through the Bible, not tribal affiliation nor kingship is.
Do you people just not read the whole post? Neither Mary nor David were descended from the right lines of Solomon.

We are born with two genealogies, one from our father and the other from our mother. It stands to reason that if Luke traces through Mary, and Matthew through Joseph, then Christ will have two different genealogies and both of them lead to David. In reference to Joseph's heritahege to David through Nathan ... The promise to Solomon sounds like the same unconditional promise to David, but it is not--it is a conditional promise as can be seen from parallel and other passages:

"He has chosen my son Solomon to sit on the throne of the kingdom of the Lord over Israel. 6 “And He said to me, ‘Your son Solomon is the one who shall build My house and My courts; for I have chosen him to be a son to Me, and I will be a father to him. 7 ‘And I will establish his kingdom forever, IF he resolutely performs My commandments and My ordinances, as is done now.(1 Ch 28:5)

As for Mary I need to give a touch of background ... In In Numbers 26 we are introduced to Zelophehad who we are told, had no sons, only daughters. In Numbers 27, following the death of Zelophehad, the daughters of Zelophehad came before Moses and argued their plight. Because their father had died with no sons, all of their rights of inheritance were to be lost and they felt this was unfair. So Moses prayed to God and God gave Moses an exception to the rule. The Lord told Moses that the inheritance CAN flow through a female, IF they fulfill two requirements. There must be no male offspring in the family (Num 27:8) and if the female offspring should marry, they must marry within their own tribe (Num 36:6).

Now we come back to Mary. On the surface she should be unable to transfer the rights to her Son. But when you research you find that Mary had NO brothers, AND Mary did indeed marry within her own tribe to Joseph.
