Jeremih: "star on the rise" or "flash in the pan"?

Jeremih seemed to be the "next big thing" with that "Birthday Sex" song... but, since then...NONE of his other songs seem to have that same impact....

So, maybe its nothing... maybe he'll come back stronger & be a legitimate artist (he's still young).... BUT, maybe he's just a 'one-hit wonder'....

So, which do you think he is (or closer to)?
 
I would say he's a star on the rise, but I don't think he's at the point where he can take a hiatus. If he disappears for too long, people will forget who he is/was. He CD was actually pretty decent too.
